Tomorrow’s game moved to DC

The Dockers vs. Eagles clash tomorrow (September 14, 2019) has been MOVED from Annapolis to Washington, DC.

The day starts with a joint women’s training at 10 AM, followed by the men’s game at noon. Both events will be at West Potomac Park, between the FDR Memorial and the softball fields:

Dockers win again!

Jake Moyer takes a mark for the Dockers against Philadelphia

Congratulations to the Dockers on winning all their games on August 24th!

August 24th at Frank C. Bocek Park, the Dockers hosted fellow EAFL teams the Philadelphia Hawks and the DC Eagles. The three men’s teams played each other in a round-robin format, followed by a combined women’s game with players from all three women’s teams.

The day started at 11 AM with a back-and-forth game between the Dockers and the Philadelphia Hawks, with the Dockers pulling ahead in the second half and winning by a two-goal margin:

The second men’s game was also a tight contest, with the Dockers running out winners by 11 points:

In the third game of the men’s series, the Hawks defeated the Eagles, 61-43.

The final game of the day was the combined women’s game. Although the game official goes in the record books as DC Eagles Women 45 Philadelphia Hawks Women 29, members of the Dockers women’s team played on both sides. Congratulations to everyone who played, especially to first-gamers Shannon Justice, Brittany Currier-Hield, and Manu Inostroza!

The Dockers men play again next Saturday, September 7th, at the North Carolina Tigers. Both teams play again on Saturday, September 14th in a neutral-site game against the DC Eagles in Annapolis.
