About Us
The Baltimore Dockers represent the city of Baltimore in the United States Australian Football League (USAFL), the premier competition for the sport of Australian rules football in the United States. We welcome anyone interested in our game, no experience necessary.
Join us for a practice, a game, or a social event!
The Dockers represent the greater Baltimore area, playing from early spring through October. During the season we participate in divisional games against teams from Washington DC, Boston, New York, North Carolina, and Philadelphia, concluding with the USAFL National tournament. The women’s team partners with the DC Eagles for USAFL competition.
Our two main social events are our Australia Day party on the last Saturday in January, and our Australian Football League Grand Final party in late September. We also hold various social events throughout the year.
The Dockers began play as the Baltimore-Washington Eagles, one of the original teams that founded the USAFL in 1997. After two decades of growth, the team split into two starting in the 2018 season: the Dockers and the DC Eagles. The Dockers and Eagles remain close friends and fierce rivals today. The name “Dockers” honors Baltimore’s long history of blue-collar port workers.
If you are interested in joining the Baltimore Dockers or learning more about the club or the sport, let us know! We are actively recruiting male and female players.
