Where do the Dockers practice?

The Dockers Practice at Lansdowne Middle School on Saturday mornings starting May 28th 2026. Practice starts at 9:30 am and runs until 11:30 am. All are welcome to join!

What is Australian football?

Australian Rules Football, also known as “Aussie Rules” or “footy,” is a fast-paced exciting sport from Australia that combines all the best features of many other sports.

Imagine football where everyone is quarterback, linebacker, and kicker, all at the same time. Imagine basketball with hands and feet, or full-contact soccer, or high-flying rugby. But none of those things really explains our beautiful game. The video below shows what we do:

Who do the dockers compete against?

The Dockers compete from early spring through October. During the season we participate in divisional games against teams from the east coast including Washington DC, Boston, New York, North Carolina, and Philadelphia. Additionally, the team will travel to play against teams in other areas of the United States. Every season concludes with the USAFL National tournament which is hosted in a different city every year.

Who are the Baltimore Dockers?

The Baltimore Dockers are an Australian Rules Football club in the United States Australian Football League (USAFL). The Dockers had their first season in 2018. The team was originally part of the Baltimore-Washington Eagles, now the DC Eagles, founded in 1997.

Is there a women's team?

The Dockers does have a women’s team that partners with the DC Eagles for USAFL competition.
